Ideal for both beginners and advanced riders alike, the Dakine Fusion offers a low spreader bar height which allows for maximum bar throw. Which is great for shorter riders people with shorter arms. The leg straps keep the harness held down so that it will not ride up. The precurved memory foam back panel offer great support, and unlike waist harnesses the load of the harness is dispersed thru the hips which is great for riders with back issues.
The Dakine Fusion also has an extended size range going from X-Small all the way up to XXLarge. If you’re in between sizes or your harness fits a little tight over that wetsuit, add a power belt extender to give yourself an additional 4″ of width.
It is recommended to use a sliding spreader with seat harnesses if you plan to foil or ride waves because it frees up your lateral motion. Waist harnesses can slide side to side a bit but seat harnesses remain fixed. Sliding spreaders make it much easier to ride toeside and rotate your hips when hitting a wave.
